Question 95 Continental - Dropped?

Any one know if there is a lowering kit for 95 LC's , My air suspension went out and the car dropped , And thats what got me thinking. I would rather buy a lowering kit than the coil conversion, but I have had no luck finding anything. What about swaps from somthing else, Taurus?,

you will need the coil conversion and then replace the springs it comes with with some sort of lowering springs. No clue if taurus ones would work, chances are the spring rated would be horrible though considering how much more the continental weighs.

Re: 95 Continental - Dropped?

You definintly will need to get the conversion kit for the car. Strutmasters.com, or suncoreindustries.com have conversion kits. There is a company called 3A genuine parts, they sell a 2-way spring lox shackle. You can raise the height of your car, or lower the height of your car. It locks the springs in a down position, making the car ride lower. The website is www.americanautoacc.com, or you can go to your local pepboys, and look for the the lox shackle, in the suspension lift and lowering section. I am going to put the lox shackle on my car this weekend, and I will let you know if it works.

Re: 95 Continental - Dropped?

homeskillet43, is correct you need to do the replacement conversion kit for your vehicle. Contact strutmasters.com. They have the lowest prices compared to suncore. Ask to speak to Rob or Mike Harris. Both are very helpfull and would be able to let you know of any possible speacials. The number for Strutmasters is 866-597-2397.
