Re: venting

Why should we take the time to give a quick answer when you wont take the time for a quick search?

Post in english.

Yeah, you'll still have problems. You'll still run rich. The air you vent needs to make its way back into your intake.

Search next time.

Re: venting

i agree with the guys. you need to get off your ass and look. if you really want to ventm, i highly recommend going to your local junkyard and getting a honda badge. drill 2 holes in your hood. grab two pink zip ties. pssssssshhhhhhhh down the road

for god's sake please use better english.

Heres your answer: You cannot run a vented BOV without one of these options:
MAFt (a new airflow sensor placed after the BOV - $300 new
VPC (or any standalone that uses speed density and no mass airflow sensor) - $500 used

So, you must buy one of the blow off valves that recirculates... here are a few: 1g, greddy type S, HKS SSQV. turboxs 34-H

Re: venting

Why the hell would u wanna vent? Is it because u like the sound or something? Its cheaper and better if u kept your bov recirculated because:
1) You dont have to spend $300 on a maft system.
2) You dont have to spend $100+ on a new bov if u already got a 1g bov.
3) With 1+2 u can buy yourself a better turbo or exhaust system or put some beats on your car.
