Which Mercedes to Buy ?

I like the MB 300 D from 1991 to approx. 1995 and searching for advice on these cars as well as other diesel models (like the 5 cylinder).
Anyone knows where to see all different models/years and specification in general like diesel, gasoline, number of cylinders, etc ?
Alos any car to stay away from /
thanks, Wilson

I really like the 1986-1995 Mercedes-Benz E class. They have better quality and reliability than the new MBs.

Watch out for head gasket leaks on 300Es and E320s.

The 95 E300 Diesel has a 3.0-liter DOHC 24-valve inline 6-cylinder diesel with 134 hp at 5,000 rpm and 155 lb-ft @ 2,600 rpm. Here is some more information on the W124 (86-95 E class).

A performance chip can boost hp from 134 hp to 150 hp and torque from 155 lb-ft of torque to 172 lb-ft of torque. Check the following link:

Make sure you have an great independent Mercedes-Benz dealer check the car.
