I really like the 1986-1995 Mercedes-Benz E class. They have better quality and reliability than the new MBs.
Watch out for head gasket leaks on 300Es and E320s. The 95 E300 Diesel has a 3.0-liter DOHC 24-valve inline 6-cylinder diesel with 134 hp at 5,000 rpm and 155 lb-ft @ 2,600 rpm. Here is some more information on the W124 (86-95 E class). http://www.mbusa.com/brand/container...24568&menu=2_1 A performance chip can boost hp from 134 hp to 150 hp and torque from 155 lb-ft of torque to 172 lb-ft of torque. Check the following link: http://www.powerchipgroup.com/intera...sp?pid=Mer0018 Make sure you have an great independent Mercedes-Benz dealer check the car. |
