i have a 95 camaro and we are going to be putting a custom box in the back....i have 2 power acoustik fubr-12's, what i'm wondering is how many ports do i need and what size should they be? thanks for your help

Port and size of ports are dependant on your desired tuning, as well as the NET volume and size of the port!

In all honesty, it's QUITE difficult to design and lay-out correctly. If you like, I design custom ported enclosures for a small charge...just to make it worth my time.
All I need is, max dimensions (in terms of Width, Height, Depth). What amp, and round-about desired tuning (if you're not sure, fill me in on what type of music you like...and whether you like Sound Quality or Loudness more). I'll design and lay-out a custom ported enclosure for you, including all specs and dimensions, as well as a cut-sheet of exact size of all pieces needed AND a sketch! Couple people on here can vouch for me, as well as on www.caraudio.com (my username is the same!)

because of the odd shape of the camaros trunk, it is very hard to build box that will sit in it right. however, there are custom pre fabs that are built to perfectly fit in the trunk. box goes down into the well of the trunk and subs fire up and slightly forward against the rear windshield. look it up, im not sure what website will have it. i know you can get them sealed or ported.

yea Q-logic build Loyd's wall for his 8's...... and Qlogic boxes suck period even their sealed boxes. Saled boxes need calculations to .... gotta get the right QTC or ittl sound bad.
