brakelights stuck on

Any one else had this problem,
Wife's friend's Aveo 2 months new, brakelights won't go off.
Had to wait until Monday (today) to take to dealership.
hopefully under warranty.

Re: brakelights stuck on

I had the same problem on my 2004 Aveo and the problem was the switch. Once my father fooled around with the switch, not only did it fix that problem but it also fixed a problem I was having with the automatic shifter (it would be locked in park.....proabably because the car was not recognizing that my foot was on the break).
