What are the 2 tubes that are bolted to the back wall of the engine bay? 1 points to the coil, and the other points to the back of the alternator. I was thinking of removing them for a cleaner look, but wont if they do something important.

Re: What are They?
They divert air from outside, to "cool" the coil and alternator. Leave them in there.

Re: What are They?
There is a fan under the carpet on the right side of the trunk that blows air onto the coil and alternator through those tubes. It comes on when the radiator fan comes on. The tubes do polish up nicely.

I guess that 1 more thing I have to check to make sure it still works. THANKS.

It really doesn't make much of a difference. I know at least a few people who have had theirs removed with no ill effects. You'll gain some trunk space if you peel back the carpet and remove the fan motor and whatnot.
