Gas Lite

Hello i have a 95 chevy blazer, is there anyway to put a low fuel level gas lite on my blazer mine doesnt have one it just runs out, i was seein if i could add a lite that tells me my gas is really low.....

This is a little ridiculous.

You should never allow your tank to go to empty.

Always refill at about a 1/4 of a tank.

reason being sometime the gauge says 1/4 and sometimes it runs out. and other times it will hit the red then run out........

Generally, such devices rely on the same input that your fuel gauge is receiving. So if your sending unit isn't operating correctly, nor will the Low Fuel light device.

I don't know about the '95, but on a few older GM vehicles, I've had trouble with the contact points on the sending unit creating false readings to the fuel gauge.
