How hard is it to get more hp?
One thing ive alwayts wondered ever since i got into street racing was how hard is it to make a slow car fast? And how expensive it is. so if you would add something that might help answer my question.

ok, well then what would i need to make some thing into like a 12 sec car, would i need more than like cold air intake and turbo or would i need some spray?

you can get into the 12s easy with a turbo, not using nitrous, you just gotta find the right car/engine setup to do it with...hell you can get into the 12's with a foxbody mustang 5.0 if you know the right mods to put on it.
Edit: and is it cheap to get a foxbody 5.0 into the 12s?...let me put it this way...it's aeons cheaper than trying to get a maxima into the 12s.

I understand im being vague... sorry. ok how hard would it be for the cars in my profile?( mitubishi evo Vlll, subaru wrx, toyota celica, toyota mr2 spyder, toyota supra, Mazda Mx-5 miata)

evo? basic bolt on stuff, hell some can do it stock
WRX? reflash the ecu to put out more boost, then basic bolt ons like cat back exhaust, turbo down pipe, maybe a bigger intercooler Celica? jesus, lots MR2 spyder? you mean the new ones? lots as well Supra TT? hardly anything Mustang? Already answered that question, but it takes less than a celica, and more that a twin turbo supra.

That's what i thought for the celica 'cause hp is low and doesnt have turbo.

you know speed demon... i noticed your picture of the naked vehicle. it's off topic i know, but i was thinking "if i was him, i'd look at that and go "what the hell do i do next?" cause that looks so confusing and so very depressing, i would never be able to strip a car that much down...
