'95 Monte Carlo Running Rough.

My car has been running progressively rougher over the past year. Had @ several dealers who replaced the PCM, and transmission solenoids. That got rid of the trouble codes...dealer could find nothing else wrong but car continued to get worse.

I have personally replaced all injectors, done plugs and wires, checked grounds and sensor voltages (that were accessable), new alternator and battery, watched sensor outputs on code scanner during driving over the course of a week and saw nothing out of the ordinary on the scanner.

Original owner, have done routine maintenance but car does have high milage.

Car almost stalls when throttle is applied from just off idle. It stumbles until it finally catches up and then it takes off like a freakin' rocket.
Throttle position sensor was replaced first to eliminate this out of the equation.

After exhausting other options, I'm thinking it may be a plugged exhaust system. Has anyone experienced an exhaust problem?? If so, what were the symptoms?

Please help!!!! We are ready to stangle a whole pile of kittens. (just kidding!!)

nearly the same problem

it sounds like we are having the same problem.

i just did my plugs and that took care of the rough idle, though it seems to idle a bit high (around 1), but that could just be that it's cold. the car still misses every once in a while while driving, but it's MUCH less frequent. i'm going to be replacing the coil bank that the faulting cylender is on, hopfully that will help.
