Wanting to trade in my Dad's Grand Prix GTP

I'm Wanting to trade in my Dad's Grand Prix GTP, he is okay with it. However he is not available to do the trade in himself... Can i trade the car in for him, if he gives athorization??

If your Dad signs off on it, on the back of the title. And gives that title to you. It's your car. Do what ever you want with it.
I know you are going to buy another GTP, but newer, right?
