possible wiring prob? help
i have an 87 iroc z28 and sometimes when i turn on the headlights the right side of the instrument pannel goes dead all the gauges go dead but if i turn the dimmer switch so the guage lights are off all the guages work again right now i have a red neon screwed to the dash pad above the instrument panel and that works for now. Not a ig problem but kind of anoying wondering if any else has had the same problem or knows how to fix it

Re: possible wiring prob? help
ok, definatly sounds like some sort of power feedback short, there is no way for me to tell you what to do other than to check your wiring circuits for shorts to ground and/or power, without the schematics, and electrical diagnosis experience, i dunno how else you would go about doing it.
