Check Engine light Why?
I have a 1996 mitsubishi eclipse, i just installed a intake and a venom 400 chip about 3 weeks ago ive driven the car since then but b/c of poor weather i havent driven the car in one whole week but today i took the car out 3 times and the 3rd time i drove it the check engine light came on...there is no smell from the exhaust, the car runs fine with the venom chip turned on and off, any ideas wut could be causing the check engine light to turn on"? maybe low fluids or a faulty o2 sensor..? any help is greatly aprreciated.. thanks

Lol, there is no possible way we could know what's causing it. Take your car to like Advanced Auto, or like the Mitsu dealer and have them do a diagnostic on it and see what comes up.

Re: Check Engine light Why?
yeah.. you need to figure out what code the ecu is throwing. theres something you can do were you turn the key on/off like 5 times and the check engine light will start blinking. you count how many times it does it and you can look it up and figure out what code/issue its throwing. ill look for the link to the instruction for ya here in a bit. i know its a chrysler thing.. not sure if all obd2 dsm's have it or not. peace
