Re: Skyline not made for US

If you're looking for Skylines, you won't find them at Nissan's US site. The Skyline is made and sold in Japan.

The US has the Infiniti G35 sedan and coupe, which are near identical to the current Nissan Skyline. The G35 has the most powerful Skyline engine standard, but lacks the continously variable transmission. The G35 is also left hand drive.

Re: Skyline not made for US

Not really. That's the old one. Unless you look at previous generation Skylines, there aren't many cars that look like it.

Edit: I guess you could say the Acura Legend(2nd gen) kinda looks like an R34. Someone in my area tried to make their Legend coupe like an R34 GT-R, adding R34 headlights and tailights. It even has Signal Auto-style striping on the side. It was painted in a pearl type color(not a factory color), so that might raise your suspicions a bit. Otherwise, it's actually pretty convincing from a distance.

Re: Skyline not made for US

I really don't know. Unless some Legend body kits are available, the work will probably have to be custom. The headlight/taillight conversion is probably custom work, too.

Re: Skyline not made for US

No, not that many Skylines were imported and legalized. There's probably less than 200. There may be a few illegals running around too, but they really aren't worth the risk of buying.
