Speaker set Question
OK..this is going to sound really newbish and stupid, but a couple years ago I bought this cheap from Wal-mart. It's Wal-mart's very own "Stereo System" for cars and shit. I was wondering, if I was to use this so called "system" since I'm cheap and poor, would it work by wiring in from the back deck speakers or should I just get the whole new wiring from my stereo?

Re: Speaker set Question
Walmart systems suck but I'm a poor white boy too so I've been there. If you have an amp you can run it off of the rear spkrs if it has high level inputs. run some heavier gague power wire to it though. Even if it's cheap it needs it. Probably 8 gauge. If you're talking about one of the cheap spkr cabnets walmart sells you can hook it up to the rear speaker wires too but un hook the existing speakers because your deck wont be able to handle anything other than a 4 ohm load without crapping out. or over heating.
I'm not sure if this is gona help you out or not but I thought I'd give you what I knew of cheapo systems. |
