The rumble outside the garage....

Couple of you told me the garage made it echo, therefore not getting an accurate account of the sound of the car.....

Well, took her out long enough to get the clip.....

15+ megs, wanted good quality....
http://home.comcast.net/~mrluos/exhaust.wmv

Cranked her over for the first time in a week. Odd, I tried looking out the rearview mirror, and couldn't. It was vibrating too much.

Current motor should be coming out in 3-4 weeks. Then hopefully the new one will be ready to go in about 2-3 months.

Re: The rumble outside the garage....

It sounds so much more defined with the Loudmouth on. By defined, I guess I mean a bit more smoother sounding, yet just as loud and beautiful.

I love it either way though. Went are the next mods going in? Plus, if you can, I would love to see you in another race of some kind like your first vid you posted. L8...

Well, I doubt I will be driving without exhaust for very long. I have already got the new exhaust ordered/delivered.

I will try to get some races in. Hard to find during the day, and it will be even harder to find good competion with the new set-up.

New set-up.........
Texas Speed 402ci
All new parts/accessories.
Cam will be at least .246 duration, .610 lift, and probably on a 113 LSA.
Heads......Probably LQ9 ported heads.
42# injectors, COMP timing chain, LS6 ported oil pump, and Spec clutch are already here.
Kooks 1 7/8" headers, cutouts, Magnaflow catback. Headers on order, Magnaflow is already here, and the cutouts I am waiting on new stainless ones to be released.

Very nice setup indeed. Wonder if there would be anyway to get those earlier vids you posted up. I went back and found the links but they wouldn't work anymore. I heard somethin about burnouts, and like anyone else I love me some tire smoke. If not no biggy. Compliments on your Trans-Am again.
