S.P.Y.R.O.´s recent and previous work (lots of pics)

Hi!

Due to some problems with my buddy´s Imageshack, he´s unable to upload the images I took on his models earlier today. Anyway, in the following pics you´ll see some of the models that S.P.Y.R.O has built during the years, some of them has got published in magazines and won prizes at several events.
His next project will be a quite extreme, "kick-ass rod" as he like to refer it to himself, in the ground it´s a 1/25 Revell Ford 3-Window Coupé ´32.
Well, enough talking, here are the pics, enjoy!

New project, Revell Ford 3-window Coupé ´32, Hoppin Hydros monster wheels and PE disc from MGC, 1/25 scale:

CCM Open contest entry model #1, MB 500 SL á lá Fujimi, paint is Alclad II prismatic green to blue over Tamiya Racing Green, wheels are from the Revell Escalade, 1/24 scale:

CCM Open contest entry model #2, Revell "California Wheels" Cadillac Escalade, custom roof wing, 1/25 scale:

CCM Open contest entry model #3, Revell ´69 Camaro Z28 street-machine, paint is Tamiya Candy Lime Green, 1/25 scale:

Revell Ford ´33 Rod, featured in Wheels magazine, scratchbuilt rear license plate, 1/25 scale:

AMT Edsel Pacer ´58, also featured in Wheels magazine, wheels are Hoppin Hydros, 1/25 scale:

AMT vintage kit, Mustang GT500, 1/25 scale:

Revell Austin Mini Cooper, Drag-style with rear tires from a F-1 kit and scratchbuilt wing, 1/25 scale:

AMT ´99 Ford Boss Mustang, 1/25 scale:

AMT Ford ? "junker", 1/25 scale:

Revell 4x4 Flareside Pick-up, tires from a RC car, scratchbuilt roof rack, 1/25 scale:

Gunze Sangyo ´59 Cadillac Eldorado, 1/32 scale:

AMT Ford F-150 Slammer, wheels are from a Tamiya Volvo Estate Wagon 1/25:

AMT Ford Phaeton Rod ´32, notice the mudguards, they´re made out of model tires! 1/25 scale:

AMT Ford ´29 Rod, box in the rear made out of real wood and suspension is from a F-1 kit, 1/25 scale:

AMT ? 1/25 scale:

That´s all for now folks!

Next up, besides the ´32 Rod is a collaboration, pro-touring project between me and him featuring a Yenko Camaro with many suprises, so stay tuned people!

Making FWD cars RWD for drag is nothing new.

Nice work, thanks for sharing your friends work! How did he do the murals on the Eldorado? And which magazine published him? Tell him to sort his pic problems so we can see more!

nice work, a little advice would be to paint the trim, other than that they look great. I like the escalade, mini, and the 69 comaro the best.

Oh I´m sorry, offcourse it´s a chevy!!! Just that writing all that and putting up the images really pissed me of so I did´nt really look it through before posting.
As for how he did the murals, no idea, maybe the decals came in the kit?

If that was the case then why are the exhausts at the front?

where the exh. comes out of a car has nothing to do if it's a fwd/rwd/awd... you can have it comming out of the roof if you like.

great models.. the '33 ford is awesome
