WEll the intake is close to the battery and when i hit hard bumps (like i fucking fly and land hard) i blow the fuse. I think it might rub on the battery and something. I wrapped the intake in electric tape but it still did the same thing. I ended up plugging the air filter directly to the trhottlebody.. Any dangers in doing this?

No, but you might not get as much colder air as you would if there was a pipe on there.
But yeah, more than likely it's the intake hitting a battery terminal. So either 1)keep it the way it is now, 2)learn to drive like a normal person, or 3)weld a tab on the intake and bolt it to the engine bay so it doesn't bounce around. Personally I'd go with both #2 & #3, but that's just me. |

yeah good point i should weld a tab on there ill get on that soon.... as far as driving like a normal person i dunno 'bout that

LOL
. I know a guy who had the same problem, and the tab thing works great for him. Sucks how they've got the battery in the front right near the hole, glad they changed that with the other generations.
