Talking a small question about Vortec water pumps

Sorry, I didn't explain myself good enough. Any 87-95 sbc or 90 degree v6 (4.3L) will interchange. The pump has to be 87 and up because it has to work with the serpentine belt system, which changed the direction the pumps spin (reverse flow). Another difference with these pumps is the coolant bypass hose for the heater. If you have it(probably not) you use it, if not you have to cap it. Other than that it will work. The 96 and up are the same pumps for the 4.3,5.0,5.7(not LT1) vortecs.
