What Wheels is everyone running on? Any suggestions?

Alright, I just got my Integra like a month ago, I've already put a DC 4-2-1 Brushed SS Header on, a Skunk2 exhaust, DC Sports short shifter and i'll soon have my Tein coilovers, what I'll need shortly after that will be new wheels. On my previous teg, which was a black GSR i had a set of 17" Tenzo R Shu-4's in Gun Metal, which I liked alot, i can post a picture of it if anyone wants to see. Now I have a white GSR with the stock fat 5's on and I want to upgrade. I'm kinda thinking of the same wheels I had before just in the white which they have as well, but i'm also starting to like the split spoke designs that are out there. I'm looking at putting a dark tint on my windows too, maybe like at a 35% rating, not sure though, I want it dark but legal, I'm also looking to put a new carbon fiber hood on top and a body kit, not sure which one though, looking towards either a full Blitz or Extreme body kit. Anyone have any pics or suggestions on any wheels they've seen out there that look good on the white teg. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I know that its mostly individual taste but I would like anyone's opinions, all are welcome and appreciated. Thanks guys.

i got 17's on my black teg. i dropped the car about 2 1/2". looks real good. I like the 17" look, especially if your car is lowered, if i had smaller wheels it would be a lot lower and i dont feel like going sideways on bumps. Also, i wouldnt get a bodykit. To me, bodykits dont look good on integras. If you want some kind of kit i would go with a lip kit, maybe an oem lip kit (good luck finding one) but i would really try to stay away from bodykits. Heres a pic of my car lowered on 17's

Dude those 17" Tenzo R Shu-4's in Gun Metal rims are hella clean. I think you should put those on your white teg too. Post some pictures of the rims when it was on your black gsr.

Re: What Wheels is everyone running on? Any suggestions?

Here's what black Integra used to look like, had a body kit on it, but it only added a little bit to it, don't remember what type it was, I have those Shu-4's on which i liked, but I'm not sure if i should get the white ones or maybe go with the black ones also. I would have gotten them off my car before they took it when it got totalled but they wouldn't let me take the wheels without replaceing them with some other ones, and i tried every junkyard and wheel/tire place around with no luck, I found like 2 space savers but couldn't get them in time (they were in quiet a hurry) so i had to suck it up and let them take em, needless to say i was REALLY REALLY pissed off about not being able to keep em. Here's the pic

Now i have a white GSR and need some wheels, definetly 17" wheels i'm sure, just not sure of the style, white on white or black on white or what? Split spoke or what? Anyways, what you guys think.

i wouldnt go with the white personally. I like the black on black with the polished lip. Either go with the black on black or go black on silver.

Those rims look pretty cool. Do you guys thinkg that the Shu-4 in gun metal would look good on a 96' White integra or should i just go with silver?

naw K2sInteg98 that was my old Integra, that one got totalled now i have a white one, what i'm thinking though is to go with the same shu-4's just in white instead, i'm just wondering what the gun metal one's (shown) would look like on my white integra. I don't know, i'm still looking into it and i have plenty of time to decide anyways. I'm thinking i might go with the white after all. hummm don't know..

o yeah the white one, haha. I would wanna go with the gunmetals. I think those rims in gunmetal would look good on a white integ. If you go with the white rims, i think that would be too much white. Plus if u get white, your gonna be washing them a lot. By the way,do the white ones have some kind of lip on it, like a polished lip, or is it all white?

the best advice i would want to give about rims is DONT buy something you see all the time i hate it when i see other cars with my rims and if you find a pair thats cheap or on sale chances are a lot of other people caught that sale too and will have the same rims

Re: What Wheels is everyone running on? Any suggestions?

Alright then, next question is how many people are running their stock Wheels? Cause by just looking at a couple of peoples sigs and there comments (not just this thread but old ones too) seems alot of people are still on there stock wheels, either by choice or not but still. I think I found the rims i want, there 17" motegi DP12 in Glossy Black. There new 2005 rims and they look pretty sharp, and i can get a decent deal on them, there still gonna cost me a bit but i have enough money left to get them. I do like the GSR Blades though, but i'd rather like something else to go on them. I just got my car tented too, to the 35 rating, but damn does it look dark sometimes almost like a 20 LoL, i nkow its legal though, atleast here in Virginia. Anyways, i want to put a carbon fiber hood on too so that's why i'm pushing that way towards the black wheels...

from what your looking into, i think your setup would be nice. A lot of people i know that are still running on their stock rims usually have gsr blades. I dont think there's anything wrong with staying with the stock gsr blades but if i had anything else, like fat fives, i would switch them out. But i would go with your glossy blacks, sounds like a nice setup

I personally like Motegi MR7's in gun metal. I actually bought some Drag Wheels DR5's. They look good and I got them on ebay for 300 without tires. I'm just waiting for my coilovers to come in so I can drop my car
