streo wont work???

well a while ago i put in JVC stereo..and it worked fine for almost a year...then one day i was turning it up and it just went out...at first i thought it was the radio so i waited a while to buy another one...when i installed that one it wouldnt work either...i tried 2 other ones and no luck..any idea of what it could be???

Sounds like your not getting power to the head unit do you have a tester light? if you do check out the red and the yellow wires the yellow should be your constant power so check it with the key off then your red wire will be your acc (only has power with the key on) if you have power to both of them then let me know and we will work from there (i sell and install car audio/mobile video for a living)

you might want to check the fuse box over the left wheel well, theres a fuse in there that says "memory" its a 5 amp fuse, that powers the stereo too. i had this similar problem.
