For multiport fuel injection only

first hays says to
A: Check all connections
B: Check the battery for full charge
C: Check for blown fuses
D: Check your air filter
Then
With the Engine running.

1. Place a screw driver against the injector and listen for a clicking noise through the handle (clicking = operational)
2. If an injector doesn't click you can purchase another tool (sometiems called a noid light) hook it the the injector electrical conector and then start the engine. If the light flashes your getting juice to the injector if not it then you have a wiring problem (Hays says take it to a dealer/mechanic)
3: With the engine off and the electrical connectors for the injector unhooked. measue each injectors restance with an ohm meter.
Measurements sould read : For all but 3.8 liter v6 = 1.2 to 1.6 ohms
for 3.8 liter v6 = 14.3 to 14.7 ohms

If you in need of replacing I sugest you buy the Hays Manual from AutoZone or your favorite autoparts store. They are under 20 dollars and at that a great value. The pictures and discriptions will help you single out wich proceedure you need to follow and just might save you from an expensive mistake.
