Off set

I know there is a thread on this some where but i cna't seem to find it... I'm looking at some 17" konig wheels but they have a 42mm off set... is that gonna be to far in the fender?

42 on 17's should work. Also depends on wheel width and tire width. Good explanation of how offset needs to change with different wheel sizes is http://www.vfaq.com/mods/macross/offsetFAQ.html.

Stock offset is 46. 225's are close, but work. If you go wider, the wheel needs to be farther from the suspension. Take the increase over 225 and divide by two, then subtract that from 46 (stock offset).
