finally finished the red roadster, back to my z project

http://www.exoticglass1.com/johnscott.htm ,the numbers are links for videos

i can finally start working on my car again. i got the passanger seat out and using it for a pattern to make my new leather seat covers. still waiting for my doors but i did finally sand a prime my back hatch. i have a full set of corvette c5 brakes(rotors and calipers) and am thinking about using them on my z, it should be pretty easy to make new brackets to hold the calipers. i'm also planning on pulling the new fan off and getting an electric fan, i noticed a big difference from when i first drove it without the fan and then when i put it on. i have a lot of other things going on but thats probably the biggest of the projects.

Thats a pretty good replica. Most kit cars look really bad.

Anyway, machining an adaptor for the C5 brakes would be easy enough, I don't know how easy it will be to make up a custom fitting for the brake line though.

People keep thinking i'm shitting them when I tell them to put on a electric fan and water pump. It'll make about 30+HP.

By the way...that mid engine car is super...looks good.

i think that will be pretty easy. i have a set of steel braided lines and will only have to get the ends to attach and the calipers and the blocks.

Either that or make an adaptor to go from the steel lines the calipers or body as needed. But, the fewer connections the better. Anyway, it will be a hell of alot cheaper than buying an upgrade kit.

Where'd you get the panels for the Lambo? You make the frame up yourself or was it built to a set of specs someone had come up with?

i purchase the fiberglass body from a company in pennsylvania, i build everything myself, also do the painting and upholstry myself. you can see others i built at www.exoticglass1.com
the brake kits i use on these cars is 13" all around and runs $2900 for everything which is much cheaper than the ones i've seen for my z.

actually lamborghini is backwards like that, i usually set it up for the standard pattern but the customer wanted like that. it messed with me bad when down shifting.
