well.. i was driving my 1971 Opel gt 1.9l 4spd down the road(it was a test drive to see if i got the carb tuned right) well i didnt.. but my buddy has a 1991 storm.. not sure what engine, but it ran great.. well he follows me back to my house and says that his car would walk all over my car.. so i made a bet for a tank of gas that mine would kill his... (dont try this at home, Note: 2 stupid 16 year olds racing) well we go out in the country.. widest road we could find... then the deal was first to the stop sign wins. the race was about 1-1/2 to about 2 miles long.. well engines rev'd up i pop the clutch, tires spin... then the tires catch then im off... blew him out of the water like no ones business... well i still like his car.. but im happy winning after losing to a 1983 350 el camino... hope this story doesnt offend anyone.... just proud of the opel even when the carb is a peice of crap
