05 Vette Raped My Tbird....
Lol, this was to funny.
 An hour ago i'm driving on sunrise highway...little traffic..4 lanes etc. I'm driving up to a red light where an 05 vette is already at (nice black one)... I get side to side with this guy (he's with his girl btw) and i rev my underpowered 4.6 w/chopped farmer john mufflers (autozone $10 chrome straights) to get his attention. He rolls down his window and he ask "what do you have done to that gal"...i say..nothing..all stock (which is true). So i tell him nice car, and his girl is smiling..so is he... Then i tell him let's drag it to the next light (atleast 100 yards) and he says in a nervous kind of voice "ok"..  Light turns green...i hit it full throttle while he probably didn't even half it...and he passed me EASILY.. He got 2 car lengths ahead of me when i'm at 30mph....i'm at 50 and he's gone....... I pull up to him at the next light and he told me he was nervous cause these days you don't know what people have done to there cars.. I told him good race, and i LOVED THE SOUND of your car.. He and his girl smile.....while i had my tail between my legs....  PS, he doesn't know i really did this cause i wanted to hear that LS2 roar....sounded NUTS.... Worth my suicide..

That vette had ALOT more body lean then i expected though.. I thought the vettes had a very stiff rear suspension..? His rear end dipped alot.

C6 is the New Vette Chassis, the 6th generation of the Corvette in some 55 years of life. C for Corvette I'd assume, and 6 being the generation.
C1 1953 - 1962 C2 1963 - 1967 C3 1968 - 1982 C4 1984 - 1996 C5 1997 - 2004 C6 2005 - ???? LS2 is the second generation of the LS1, they bumped the displacement up from 5.7L (350 cubic inches) to 6.0L (366 cubic inches). The Z06 had a upgraded LS1, called the LS6. Better intake, heads, a bit higher compression ratio, hotter cam, and better flowing exhaust. I believe the next Z06 type Corvette in the C6 chassis might be called the Z07. Powered by a 7.0L (427 cubic inches) small block which maybe called the LS7. Derived from the Corvette Racing program the C5-R. Rumored to be 500hp out of the box, probably be 'rated' at 450hp.

from what i've seen the new C6 super vette is still a z06.
 you can still see the Z06 badge, but that ain't no C5.
