3800 engine upper manifold
1997 Bonney, 165000 miles,I have been losing coolent for past several months.I finally took it to local G. M. dealer , stated crack in the PLASTIC upper manifold,SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! after removing same and removing lower manifold and replacing gaskets on lower and a total new redesigned (material) upper with gaskets, a oil change and coolent added I have my faithfull car back after a 799.59 bill!!, service manager stated many many g.m. cars with this same condition have been repaired by them every month!. Seems to be a real money maker for dealers!. I think its time for a massive lawsuite for all the victims of G.M. designers!!. What do you all think?,what will it take to get our millions back from these so called design experts?.LETS ROLL!
