Question Air Filter

Does an aftermarket air filter will help my 4 cil 86 stang's HP (even a Little)?
will that decrease my fuel compsumption?
Any little mods that anyone can recommend me?

I think K&N is the best way to go with air filters. I also know that they do add a little bit of horsepower. You won't feel a difference but it will help.
