btw, about headlights...
...i had read a few threads about how they sell polishes for headlight bezels to get the scratches/yellowing/film off of, and i just want to say save your money.
common toothpaste works great, and you already have some. (or at least you should)

I've heard this before in car detailing circiles...but I've never actaully tired it so I can't say how well it actaully works. Since toothpaste is a mild abrasive though (how do you think it cleans your teeth?) it makes since it would work somewhat.

I know it works good to clean metal, the rims on my drums. And it can get chewing gum out of hair

My headlights have the film on them, I've tried rubbing compound and Mothers Mag polish to no avail. I'll have to try this toothpaste method and give you feedback on how it well it works, if it doesn't, I'm gonna sand it with 800 and 1500 grit sandpaper.
