96 Cavalier Trans. Issue
I recently got an Oil change, and the guys at the shop pointed out a bolt that was missing that caused Tranmission fluid to drain out. Considering this, I figure there is some way to purchase a new bolt myself and add fluid, problem is I have no idea what bolt size to get. If I had a blueprint of the underneath of my car I could be more specific of where it exactly is. Just curious if this sounds familiar to anyone out there, and could offer some advice?

Re: 96 Cavalier Trans. Issue
Remove one of the other pan bolts and match it. They are all the same on a given tranny.

I am trying to search online right now for a diagram. I know nothing about cars, but I did go underneath the car when they were doing an oil change and saw where the bolt was missing. It's viewable, bolts missing on the outside of the part, right next to a pan. |

Re: 96 Cavalier Trans. Issue
I think you are looking at a missing "Pan Bolt" There will be a gang of'em going around the pan. These are all the same-just match one. If it is not a pan bolt then get someone with experience to help you. Good Luck.
