Taurus 95 brake question

when I apply the brakes on the car, I get a pulsating noise. The brake work otherwise OK, and car comes to a full halt, and within the correct distance, but this noise - which sounds like "tak tak tak tak tak tak" until the car stops is making me concerned. car runs fine otherwise.

Any thoughts on what's going on here?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Taurus 95 brake question

Not to state the obvious, but here are a few things you may want to check:

Your rotors could be warped but you should feel a shudder in the brake pedal if that's the case.

Ensure that your tire pressure is up to spec.

Are your wheels balanced?

Is it possible that you have a bent rim? (E.g., slide into any curbs recently?)

Question: Did this noise develop suddenly or over time?
