I got an LSD but does it fit...?

Hey you guys, i was getting a mirror for my friend at the junkyard, and when i was leaving i saw this 88 300zx and the lsd taken off from it in the ground. Sow I checked it out, it belong to the car and all and it was in pretty good condition, so i bought it for $50 plus insurance. But will it fit in my 240?

well i got to know, because if not i want to get my money back and go get my lazy butt on to the junkyard and get the lsd off a z32. But if the old ones, like 86-88 work, then there should be no problem. I took everything that belongs to the lsd. So could that fit in my 240? And another question is the differential on that thing a lsd?

did you take the drive shaft also? is it 4 or 5 star? I dont know anything about LSD's swaps but im trying to learn so..

yeah i also took the drive shaft, i dont know how mmany stars it is, but i also talked to my cousin, he said that it CAN be done with mods, but why do that, when i can take it back and get the z32 lsd instead at no extra cost, and it will fit better. But it is cool to see how it looks like.So after school im gonna go back to the j/y and get myself a z32 lsd. YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Theres only one left and its mine. HAHAHA!

All right!!!!!!!!!! I got my bran spankin used z32 lsd, damn it was hard to get off! I'll send you guys a picture to check it out. Now all i need to do is install it. Any recomendations or opinions?

BTW it has a 5 star flange so that could be a problem, the link nissanfanatic gave says to use the j30 shafts/axles. Is that a simple thing to install? Or is everything just time consuming?

did you get yours from an N/A or TT?? And you took the shafts right? sides and driveshaft?

no need, i already got the 90 300zx lsd.
And sorry for the delay of the pics, my memory card is screwed and i havent got a new one for my dig. camera. As soon as i get one, i'll post some pics for those who are interested.
