98 caravan/air bag light & cruise control

my 98 caravan has its air bag light on plus the cruise control
and horn stopped working all at same time, whats wrong?

These items mentioned (and others like the wipers)are controlled by the body control module.
Try disconnecting the battery for 30+ seconds and reconnecting. This will cause the BCM to reset.

There was a recall on the clockspring in the steering wheel. It should be replaced for free if time hasn't run out. I had the one replaced in my caravan last year. Call dealer and find out.

clock spring

I had my clock spring replaced last year in my 97 Grand Voyager due to a recall. At first They told me that I had too many miles on the Van but I went on-line and found out that the recall had been changed to unlimited miles. My local dealer did not even know about the unlimited miles untill I pressed the issue. Being presistant saved me over $400.00.
They must replace it for free!!!!!!!!!!
