A.i.r.?????

I was looking at replacing the stock exhaust manifolds on my truck and I see them listed as w/A.I.R and w/o A.I.R.. What does that mean? Is it the smog pump?

Yes it is the same thing as smog pump. My 90 did not come with A.I.R.

I took my smog pump off. Should I order the headers with the AIR option?

It all depends on the smog requirements in your area. If you don't have smog testing then it probably is not an issue.

When I was a kid, I took off all the smog equipment on my car. Of course, california started smog testing a few years later and I had to put it all back on.
