2000 pontiac montana service traction system light
My "Service Traction System" Light is on-and the TRAC OFF light is also on. The breaks were just changed and the level ride pump motor was replaced. The service person said that the indicator had nothing to do with the work just done. Would this work set off the indicator and how do I reset and turn the TRAC back on?
Thanks |

Re: 2000 pontiac montana service traction system light
On a side note unrelated to your posted problem. Would you mind telling me how much it cost you to replace the level ride pump motor? Mine started acting up early last summer- it wouldn't turn off after I shut the vehicle off. It would stay on until the van was ridiculously high, (looked like air shocks over inflated.) The van would then drop down slowly to a point and then the pump would kick on again and repeat the cycle. I ended up pulling the fuse to the motor to get it to stop and have since left it alone. I was curious to know around how much these things cost to replace. Thank you.

I wonder if it is possible to mess up the wheel speed sensor when changing the brakes. I have never seen it but if it is where it could get damaged then they could be related.
