'90 dash speaker grilles

how do you remove these? Most GM's, they just pop/pry out. These don't want to budge.

you have to remove the dash pad i believe and unscrew the speaker grills from the underside of the dash pad

Yup, three screws at the defrost grille; one behind each A/C grille; and two screws above the dlove box, and the top dash is off. The right speaker is what I was after.
