Identify the owner...

I quote a thread recently posted on PistonHeads...

How does a black SLR, silver Maclaren F1, yellow Ferrari 275 GTB and to top it all...a silver Enzo with on hell of a plate - ENZ 1. The chap in the garage was fitting trackers to the SLR and confirmed this was not a showroom but a private collection.
Can anyone here identify the owner from the information given?

Re: Identify the owner...

With the Ferraris...Ralph Lauren, probably.

Unlikely to be Ron Dennis with the Ferraris.

Or it could be any number of non-resident wealthy people who keep (some of) their cars in London.

No it wasn't. This is correct.

The guy must have really wanted the car though. Can't remember the exact figure but import duty is more than 50% of the value of the car (it sold for £1,000,000 iirc)

The cars could belong to Juan Barazi. He is the owner of the silver 1996 F1 #49 f(Mercedes Brilliant Silver) registration N884PWV as featured in EVO magazine. He also races Ferraris. No idea what he does for a living..

That makes a lot of sense. I'm guessing you are correct.

Mcl240 - Barazi did get his car through T&C.

Re: Identify the owner...

I'm not sure when mr Barazi acquired his car - it may have been from T&C. The EVO magazine article was less than six months old

Re: Identify the owner...

Barazi's car is for sale. I saw it a few months before it was in the mag. I doubt that it was sold to him between the time i saw it and when it was in the mag. I think he's got it consigned to T&C. He also had some really nice exotics for sale at DK around that time too (GT1, F50 etc)
