Re: side window installation

If you don't have experience changing windshields or sealed windows like that, I would reccomend a professional... It's not that easy. Also if you have a local place do it, ususally they come with a lifetime warranty against leakage

Re: side window installation

If it's the door glass just pull the door panel off and it'll probably be easy to figure out

Re: side window installation

this won't help you much but If I saw it it'd be working in a few minuits, but I'd have to see it.

Check out a shop manual at the library if you don't have one.

Re: side window installation

there are either rivits (most likely) that have to be drilled out to get the arms off or bolts that need undone for the arms to come free and be able to slide off the track, go to scrap yard and ask them

Re: side window installation

You will have to pull the tracks out in order to get the window back in the tracks, but there has to some reason that it came out.A year would really help.

Re: side window installation

Ok, it's a door window... Remove the panel... lower the window about 4 inches. Remove the 2 10mm bolts at the bottom and the retainer. Tip the window to a 45 degree angle and slide out. Install new window in reverse and make sure you use new track guides on the window.
