93' A/C Recharge
Here in Fla. It's starting to get hot.
My 1993 GM is blowing warm air. Does anyone know what knid of coolant this car takes? I see those recharge kits/cans of coolant at the store, will this work? Has anyone used one of these kits? Any Advice? Thanks in advance for all help! |

Re: 93' A/C Recharge
You should be able to get a kit and a couple cans of refrigerant to recharge your system from any auto parts store. It will probably be a changeover since I think the old R12 was used in the 93. It takes less thatn 30 minutes, just follow the directions and you should have cold AC pretty soon. You may want to try recharging without any sealants first, then if it leaks out quickly try the sealant later.
