Re: new motor????

Why? Is there something wrong with the motor?

Not really,The max i can get it to go is 95mph,And I want to get a turbo kit put it in,I dont know if I should waste the time and money to put a turbo kit in,Just for the motor to blow...Or should i just get a rebuilt or buy a new one then go with the turbo kit...?

Re: new motor????

There are about 10,000 threads about the advantages / disadvantages to throwing a turbo on an RS/GS. Just do a quick search.

Summary: Save your money, drive the GS until it dies and then get a GST or GSX.

1. What do you want out of the car?
2. Why do you need to go over 95mph in an N/T?

You can always save a few grand, sell your GS, and buy a turbo DSM. The bank doesn't care which car you are driving as long as your making payments.

Re: new motor????

The bank wants thier name on the title, and full coverage on the insurance, where I live. No way to sell the car without getting the title cleared by the bank. They even hold the title, if you first bought it with the loan. When refinancing its possible to keep the title, but they will hound you for it, and for the full coverage, until the eventually toss a 2500 dollar charge right on the balance. Ask me how I know Other states might be different though, who knows.

Re: new motor????

I haven't heard of that issue where I live in Canada at all. Like said above, they really dont care, I think all they care about is letting them know that you are selling and getting something else.
