1st true kill
I don't normally go looking for races and i usually don't race anyway, but yesterday i had the time and opportunity.
I was kind of in a hurry so i had taken off pretty quick (for my car anyway) and kept getting caught at the lights. at the third one from my house i'm stuck waiting. I get done changing CDs and look over and there's 3 guys in a 94 (i think) Lumina. the passenger and guy in the back are looking over and smiling. I say to myself, 'what the hell?'. I see the cross traffic light turn yellow and let off the brake, puch teh clutch in and put it into gear. Light turns green and I take off, and so did he. I get a good launch jam it into second. keep going, I look over and i'm pulling away form him. shift to 3rd and top it out there going between 70- 80 (speed limit is 45) and I have about a length and a half on him. so i tap my brakes and slow down. but he won't pass me. he keeps pacing me for another 2 miles. I get in the left turn lane and he drives right by with no issue. thats my story, i'm at work and wasted enough time with this so i can't do cliff notes. besides, reading makes you a gooder learner.

Re: 1st true kill
yeah, i've been using this name online for years now. Ever since the first Half-Life game came out. I didn't realize the implication of the name until like, my second post on here, hah, oh well.

Anyway, glad your first kill was a good one. No Flipping of the birds, no fly-by, or turning on of the haz lights after they fly-by. Just a clean race. You're lucky. Good story too. L8... |
