P1000 - monitor testing incomplete ??????
What does this actually mean and how can i clear it. The person who did the test for me did not know what was wrong.

Re: P1000 - monitor testing incomplete ??????
Any chance the person pulling the codes had just cleared codes? Here's one cause that might make sense if you were checking things with a scan tool:
PCM DTCs have recently been cleared with a scan tool.

i had disconnected the battery the night before for about an hour. ran the van for about 20 miles, CEL on. When the ran the testing with the snap-on scan tool and ran the test and gave the P1000, my CEL had cleared prior to the testing, stored in memory was P0340 which i will tackle soon

Quote:
What it means is that one or more of the built in monitors has not had enough drive cycles since the memory was cleared to run their test(s). There are monitors for the catalytic converters, fuel vapour recovery, and others. |
