2nd Generation Preludes rock

I just wanted to say that 2nd generation preludes are solid, i have an '86 prelude base model with dual carbs and 12 valve engine, it is currenty feb '05 and i bought it in aug '04 and i only had to sink about a grand into it, i would say that isnt bad considering its almost a 20 year old car, last week i had a new oil pan, oil pan gasket, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, exhaust manifold gasket, valve cover gasket, cam seal, crankseal put in, and 700$ (cdn) i would say that isnt too bad, the car has around 200,000 kms, not sure how much that is in miles, and it is still running strong, in a couple months im throwing in 6.5" sony explods in the doors, 6x9 sony explods in the back dash, 2 10" fusion subs in the trunk with a 500W sony explod amp, should sound alright with the car being a fairly small car, i also got my hands on the original aluminum rims that came on the preludes in that year, they look amazing, just yesterday my exhaust came apart where it hooks into the catalytic converter, i cant drive it cause im gonna get pulled over for noise pollution, let alone enviromental pollution due to the exhaust not flowing throught the catalytic converter lol, im planning on doing some metal this summer also, the door sills need some sanding and im going with some aftermarket front fenders i can pick up for about 70$ (cdn) a piece, and planning on doing some metal fabrication on the rear quarter panels, all in all, the prelude is definitly a solid car, only if it came with a lil bit more horse power, if any of you know any direct boltons you could suggest to give me a few extra horses, that would be appreciated thanx
P.s. check out my prelude at http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/726921

Re: 2nd Generation Preludes rock

Good looking 2gen. As for power.. do your own thing. I've never seen a second gen turbo lude..

There's also the option of a B series powerplant. Do a search for it in this forum.. people have done it before..
