Question Where is the AC Drain?

I am having an antifreeze smell in my venture van. A mechanic told me to check to make sure that the A/C drain is not plugged up.

I got 3 chilton manuals and none indicate where this drain is.

Has anyone run into this before? I am not sure how a plugged A/C drain can cause antifreeze smell in the van, but I wanted to inspect it.

The clear dripping condensation is coming from the firewall, but I don't know if that is normal or not.

Your tips and experience are appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom Smith

Re: Where is the AC Drain?

the a/c drain is located passenger side fire wall.( viewed best from under the van. it is just about mid-line with the lowest pulley( i believe) the crank shaft pulley. it is a straight tube that sticks out of the firewall. I would also get the haynes manual as all the information you need is in chapter 3, both your heater core question and this question. but there are some other tricks also that I can help you with. hope this helps
