passenger windows won't defrost
I wonder if it is just bad design, since there are not vents along the passenger windows, but they just will not defrost. And it seems that the interrior is always foggy or humid, for no reasons since all other cars I pass on the road have their windows clear so it is not a weather thing!
Could it be that the interior/exterior ari circulation valve is stuck? Thanks Glenn |

Yes - I experience the same thing. It seems at times that the car blows out steam on the inside. I was told to just "wash the windows".

If you are finding that there is a constant film on the window, it could be that you have a heater core leaking. Also, what you are cleaning the windows with could have an effect. I used Armorall Auto glass cleaner. It sucks, the next day the windows look foggy and I have to run the defroster in normal weather to keep them clear. I would either try Windex or go to the auto parts and buy the glass cleaner called 20/20.

My malibu was doing the same thing when I first bought it, I dont know if this had anything to do with solving the problem but my head gasket blew from the coolant leak problem everyone seems to get.. 3,000 bux later my engine is new and the window problem went away... I cant say thats what fixed it but, I know it used to have the same problem and now doesnt.
