Blind Spot

i love everything i've read about Eclipse/Talons *except* the blind spots that make backing up or changing lanes a nightmare, especially in areas heavily packed with pedestrians. i have driven cars with pretty bad blind spots before, and sometimes you can use aftermarket mirrors to eliminate them (i test drove a Tiburon, and the blind spots in that thing annoyed the hell out of me)

has anyone managed to put a fish eye mirror or anything like that on their car and make the blind spot more tolerable?

any advice would be apprecited.

thanks!

I agree with that, but at least the rear window is glass!!! I just can't believe that some of the higher end BMW's still have plastic back windows. Talk about a blind spot!

Re: Blind Spot

I have found that the blind spot in my car is not that big of a deal, especially if you are just aware of what is going on around you on the road.

But thats just me :-)

steal some cameras off a Lexus SUV. j/k
the convexed mirrors you get at autopart stores work real good. as for backing up just do it slowly and pay attention. its really not as bad as it sound though.

Re: Blind Spot

Put a 3 guage pillar pod on your car... That thing seems small, but once your driving... it covers all, especially when turning left, and you try looking intot he turn.
