how to cover gap with body lifts?

is there any way with a body lift to cover the gap which is created in the front and back of the jeep? I currently have a sahara with 31" tsl thornbirds cramed under a stock suspension with no lift. i can't afford a suspension lift but im am considering a body lift.

It's a little unclear what gap you're talking about...

Re: how to cover gap with body lifts?

most companies that sell body lifts sell gap guards...usually sold separate from the kit itself.expensive pieces of plastic with rivets.mine were like $70

sheetmetal and a welder.

Or some plastic and a little creativity.

I would not reccomend a body lift.... They are ugly and can easily twist the body. 2 of my friends got body lifts and regret it

Re: how to cover gap with body lifts?

If you put a 1" on it is hardley noticable, and will give you a little more room. You also don't have to worry about shifting the body on the frame with only a 1". I saw a Silverado the other day with some kinda "custom" gap gaurds held on by zip ties. Looked better than the gaps.
I assume your asking because your tires are rubbing, what is your wheel offset? With the sidewall lugs on those tires you gotta have pretty good backspace to turn the wheels.

I reccomend a 2 inch coil spacer lift, they are innexpensive and will give you the clearence that you want. Thats what I have on my jeep running on 31 10.50's I have enough room to get 33 though
