90 Mustang LX to GT Ground Effects kit?

I'm looking at a 90 MustangLX 5.0 with 128000km on the car, it's pretty cheap, I can get it for probably 6 grand. Really though, what I want is the GT styling. Don't want any aftermarket body kits, just stock GT.

Does anybody know where I can get a GT ground effects kit for that car?

the stock gt styling parts don't really weigh that much, they are just urethane. as far as the whole car goes the gt does weigh more than the Lx, but that is because ford made the gt chassis more rigid and the suspension a bit more beefy than the lx. i'd say do it, but good luck finding a good mustang body of any type in the junk yard (just experience speaking here).

That is not true. There is no difference in the chassis of an V8 LX to a GT.

I don't know of any company's that sell GT FX kits as a set. You can buy the parts all seperate though. Many company's sell simular kits but with the Cobra look. www.cervinis.com, www.abcexclusive.com, and www.ageclassic.com all have Cobra kits for LX Mustangs, take a look.

6 grand, is that CDN? Since you listed it as cheap and the mileage in Km, that's what I am assuming.

try ebay. they might not be perfect but, with a little work and some paint they could be. plus its a good start.
