Something to do with his car, considering all of the things he's currently done to it. Or maybe a good pic of some Si rims...

Re: off topic thought of the day: lxndr needs an avatar

Yeah, I know...

I just haven't found an avatar that makes me scream "THAT'S IT"! I have, and have had many different cars and I post in other forums on the AF, so I need an avatar that is kind of generic, but I don't feel that something generic suits me. I've thought about using an image of my 'ol '60 Cad Deville air cleaner that I pinstriped with flames, but some people may take offense to the "Genuine Satanic Parts" logo right in the middle of it. Hmmm...
Then again, when has that stopped me before?

Any suggestions?

P.S.
I think cvcc_wagon has the perfect avatar!
There's no way I could top that!

The SI rims are my second favorite avatar.

I just like the suck, squish, bang, blow effect of cvcc_wagons avatar. Plus it's kinda' generic, but only a car enthusiast would understand what they were looking at.

Here's a link to the pic I was thinking of using.

http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/lxndr/aay

I would have to re-take the picture and clean up some of the rust first.

Re: off topic thought of the day: lxndr needs an avatar

My '60 Cadillac Deville.

That was my first attempt at pinstriping, I've since become much better. I threw a few pics of the 'ol Cad in my gallery on RPR because I had no where else to put them. If anyone is curious to see them here's the link:

http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/lxndr

Psssst...
Don't tell the guys at RPR that there's an old Cadillac taking up space on their server.

Yep, old cars are a long term passion of mine. To say I've had a few would be an understatement. I even still have my first car that I bought when I was 14, a '65 Impala 2 door hardtop. It's currently sitting in storage in a thousand pieces (literally). A few years ago, I started the process of doing a frame off restoration, then lost the workspace I was using. So for now it's just sitting until I can get some other projects out of the way and get it in the new shop.

Dang, my personal fav' is the 64 Impala 2 dr. hardtop (Close!). I really think you should clean out that workspace in any free time you get and continue restorin' your '65, because it deserves it

Believe me, I know it desreves it. It's been in my family since it was new! I know the complete history of the car and all the stories of how it changed hands from one family member to another. It was even bought new in '65 from a family member at the dealership.
