2001 Clock

If I replace the clock display in my 2001 GT with one from a 2003, will it work & will the compass/temp display work?

Not unless you have the sensors installed. You have to have the thermometer, and compass installed as well.

I was under the impression that the sensors were inside the unit...

nope... the temperature guage is behind the rearview mirror i believe. just to let you know...the 03+ did not come with the temperature or compass, so they wouldnt be in the unit anyway

Hmmm....A friend of mine bought an 03 & it has the temp & compass thing. I thought it would look good to have something displayed there as I will be replacing the stock radio soon.

Your clock will still display after you put a new head unit in. But thats all it will do is display the time...im sure you already figured that, but just an anti idiot comment.

ive had two '03s and neither one had the temp and compass. ive had the premium package and the basic model. neither one had it

i totalled the first one so i bought a second one. i loved my car and thats why i bought another one. it doesnt always matter about how fast a car goes. i loved the styling of the 3G, and i also got plenty of compliments (alot of them from girls too)

I own a 2003 GTS Silver and it has Clock, Temp, Compass, CD Track, and Radio Freqency in the center dash module display. I have the Infinity Radio and speaker system.
The only complaint I have with that arangement is that the center speaker behind that display rattles and annoys me greatly.

Thats because girls think its a cute car. Thats why you see more girls than guys driving them. Escpecially those damn valley girls from So Cal!
