Exhaust Pipe Questions
OK.... on my truck with headers and dual flowmasters I am going to put new pipe going from the mufflers back. Does bigger size pipe make any difference in horsepower or sound. And do bigger sized tips (bigger than the pipe) do anything either? I was just going to have the local shop bend 3" straight back... Please respond, im getting it done on friday morning....

Re: Exhaust Pipe Questions
From muffler back, basically no. The only thing it might change ever do slighty (if at all) is the sound, a deeper roar, but I very seriously doubt it will be significantly differen. The bigger tips are gonna be all for looks, if your into that sort of thing. In my opinion, Oversized tailpipes make vehicles look retarded, but to each his own.....

Re: Exhaust Pipe Questions
Well actually id dose allow more airflow to come out of the muffler. But it will not have any dramatic increasments, it might give it like 1/2 a horse, on your preformance it will give it a cool sound though. IF you want more hp from your pipes i would recommend putting bigger pipes from the headers back and throwing on some nice tube glasspacks.
